The Harry Beswick

Roy and the team welcome you to The Harry Beswick, the former site of Heswall Police Station, originally constructed in 1911 and who’s name is derived from the former County Architect, Harry Beswick, known for his 20th century Edwardian designs of police stations and educational buildings in the region.

Today, the pub provides welcomed visitors with delicious fresh food, a fine selection of quality ales and a friendly warm welcome in a relaxed environment.

The Harry Beswick Pub & Restaurant in the Wirral

The characterful Edwardian features of the original building are of special interest and can still be found, from the stone plaque above the main entrance which still bears the year of construction and the Ruabon brick façade and sandstone, to the mullion windows and gables that have been retained as key attributes, protecting the historical relevance of the building and the skill of the architect for years to come.
